bio
I'm a professor, researcher, and an ever-curious mind drawn to everything involving language, technology, and education. I hold a degree in Languages from UFV (Brazil), a master’s and a PhD in Linguistic Studies from UFMG, and a specialization in Digital Design from Instituto Infnet. I completed postdoctoral research at Macquarie University (Australia) and PUC Minas (Brazil). Currently, I’m an Associate Professor at UFMG, where I teach and research the intersection of language and technology in both undergraduate and graduate programs. My work explores the role of technologies and design in language education, focusing on learning narratives from cognitive and ecological perspectives, and valuing educational experiences that happen beyond the classroom. I am also co-author of English textbook series for elementary and high school students.
