bio
I am a professor, researcher, and curious enthusiast of everything related to language, technology, and education. I hold a degree in Languages and Literature from Federal University of Viçosa, as well as a master’s and a PhD in Linguistic Studies from Federal University of Minas Gerais, and a specialization in Digital Design from Instituto Infnet. I also completed postdoctoral studies at Macquarie University and Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at Federal University of Minas Gerais, where I teach and conduct research at the intersection of language and technology in both undergraduate and graduate programs. My research explores the use of digital technologies and design in language education, with a focus on learning experiences from an ecological-systemic perspective. I am also a co-author of English language textbook collections for elementary and secondary education.
